South Cache Soccer is looking for adult and youth referees, ages 13 and over, to help us with our youth recreation soccer program. If you are interested, please review the following information, and sign up below.
WHY BECOME A REFEREE?
FOR THE KIDS
The game needs referees! Referees ensure the game is fair, fun, and safe. You are doing a service to the community and to the players, coaches, and fans.
MONETARY GAIN
There are few youth job opportunities that pay as well as being a soccer referee. You can earn decent wages with only a few hours' work. As you improve and take on higher-level games, your earnings will grow!
INCREASE KNOWLEDGE
There's no quicker way to gain a thorough knowledge of soccer than by refereeing! With a complete understanding of the laws of the game, you can become a better referee, a better player, a better coach, and a better fan.
REFEREE REGISTRATION AND TRAINING
In order to register as a referee for SCSL, fill out the form below, attend the in-person SCS training on August 27th at the Logan Rec Center (6-8PM), and complete the online referee training course using IREF. Click the button to visit IREF, make an account, and complete the training course.
